Create a custom bonnet hinge and front fascia for a Jaaaaag E type that would allow you to jack the car up by the front bumper

Kinja'd!!!

Never mess with the front of an E-Type; especially a Series 1 front, it's just... perfect.

It would just need some bracing and stiffening.

Perhaps a Series III with American bumpers would be best..

I never liked 'em. They look like an actual Dong On Wheels.

Everybody complains that a lot of cars look like a fish, yet somehow the goofy goldfish is the most beautiful car... IN THE WORLD!

Series 1.5 (1967–68) OTS in Primrose Yellow.

You're not that far off. The bonnet stops less than an inch or so from hitting the ground. The front license plate actually is hinged and a pushrod attached to the chassis tilts it out of the way to give it enough clearance.

You have to check for curbs before you open it.
